Default Slowly but surely

Put the wheels sort of on to measure for the rear.. 63.5" wide flange to flange..

Pice of the rear suspension tacked in place.

Very very nice looking.

How much rear suspension travel are you shooting for?

Once it is converted in to the 3-link, 4-5".. I may have to trim a bit of the floor pan.

Why modify a martz 4-link? Pretty sure it works well the way it is.

Nice build up by the way!

Well it's not really a 4 link. It is more of a ladder bar set up.

I may try and just convert to rod ends before switching it to a 3-link, but my concern is bind in the rear suspension for road racing. This set up will work great at the dragstrip, but there is going to be bind and I am also being told from several places that the control arms are way to short and will cause some serious wheel hop when braking hard.

Again, I think I am going to try it as it sits first, then with heims. If I don't like it then, I will conver to a 3-link.

Are your wheels tucked in far enough to clear the 4"-5" of wheel travel?

At stock ride height, maybe.. With the tires tucked where ther are at, probably not.. I have to mini tub the car for sure anyway. I'm also making the rear 1" narrower than my measurement due to the slope of the rear 1/4 panel. Between the mini tub and 1/2" on each side I should be able to get there.

Damn.... that's slammed. Is there any ground clearance with the tires tucked up that much?

With a flat rear tire, no. The bottom of the control arm brackets is level with the lowest part of the rim in this picture. I will probably set my bump stops to about that height.
