T/B Bypass hose question???????
I saw a LS1 in a 68 Camaro a couple of weeks ago that had simply capped it off before it went into the t/b and there was no line to the radiator.
Thoughts?

Here is the weird part. I called the local guy with the LS1 68 Camaro last night. He has put a ton of miles on the car since the conversion and had ZERO overheating problems.
I was wondering if it could be used like a air bleeder when first getting the coolant in the motor. Once it is all burped out, it could be plugged off.

i suppose it could, but how would you know when you have all the air out?
i mean, its a sealed system, so even if the coolent temp is a cool 180*, that small area in the top of the head could have air/steam in a pocket, and is currently approching 280+.... even with your gauge reading a fine 180*......
