thats not the stock fuel pump... since its unknown, id ditch it. thats just asking for trouble.

btw, could you do us all a small favor?
when you type, grammer and such doesnt have to be perfect, but PLEASE use english.....
its not much more effort to type "oh yeah, what are your running......" this isnt a moble phone where you're limited on the number of letters... it makes it a thousand times easier to read, and it keeps you from looking like some retarded teenage kid.

Typing coherently shows you're capable of comprehending the responses you might get, and are therefore a good investment of time responding.
I still think stealing Speartech's avatar pic is
I'm currently fighting a P0200 code that only sets after ~15min of thrashing, my advice is invest in the Helms manual for your donor car so you'll have the GM diagnostic procedures for every single P error code.

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
the transmission CROSSmember (Kmember is the big thing shaped like a K under the engine that holds the engine and front suspension) can NOT be modified to fit the T56 without alot of cutting and welding.
the mounting point for the T56 is about 3" back from the back of the stock crossmember.
you need to either:
fabricate a new crossmember.
buy a aftermarket crossmember.
what are you doing for motor mounts anyway? you can buy a complete motor mount and crossmember kit pretty cheap... then the LS1 and trans just bolt in.
while you're saving, save up for a intank pump.. and a regulator.(or filter/regulator)
you still have the wiring to do.. that takes some time the first time you do it.
wire everything up once the engine is in.
possible? yes.
but its also a stupid thing to fabricate to do.
take the stock LS1 Fbody power steering lines, and connect them to your steering box.. done. they match right up... if its a little close to the belt after its installed, tweek the hardline a little.
