Default Howell ENGINE DEVELOPMENTS???

Has anyone heard of them or used there harness? I finally figured out that this is the harness that came with my 98 ls1 that i bought. We are still having a problem, we arnt getting any spark at the coils.

I wish there web site had the diag for the harness or pin out info. the harness has wires comming out of the pcm that are not factory! Blue harness pins 11 and 77. gm pin out say "not used" Wondering if these 2 wires are my problem!!

hmmm, very odd. Not much help to ya!

Edit: Those wires have the be the reason. I think they belong in another spot? Have you traced all of the wires making sure they're in the right place?

yeah i have traced everything like 5 times lol.... i had to! i didnt have any diag so i had to trace everything just to figure out it all went! but im at a loss with those since the factory pin out says not used.

What color are the 2 mystery wires? Maybe you have a 98 PCM but a 99 and up harness??

My son-in-law is a Howell Engine Developments Dealer and is a great LS Wiring PCM troubleshooter. He's a great guy and might be able to tell you what's goin' on, or get you some answers from Howell.
