EDIT: now i understand your responce about the valve covers.
do you have AIM or anything so i can keep in contact besides PM's?
you will need new mounts but when i made mine they were located in the same location as the 307 ones. as far as your tranny what does the pan look like? that will tell exactly what it is. if it was my car and i needed overdrive i'd go with the 200r4, it'll need some upgrades though(so would the 700). the truck coils will bolt onto the valve covers just fine, although i don't know if they plug into an f-body harness the same, everything on my engine was from an 02 truck.
Just a thought.
tell me what to look for on the tranny pan. what distinguishes the difference between a 200 and a 700? is one necesarrily better than the other?
