I have not dealt with this guy, I just found him on the net. It sure seems like he has some nice powertrain stuff. Crappy web page though.

Default Best LS V8 deals I found

Howard Performance (480) 577-9413 not only had the best prices I found on new GM crate motors, they also had LS2s complete for sale with all accessories included Alternator, PS, and stand alone wiring harness & ECU when nobody else did. I bought a complete used 2000 LS1 and T-56 sixspeed with everything inc. new computer, wiring harness cheaper than any Ebay motors I watched and his company stands behind it. His shop generally has 5-6 really clean, low mileage used LS V8 packages on hand all the time. They also do crazy stuff like brand new LS2 crate motors, balanced, blueprinted and built, with all the best internal parts, into wild twin-turbo engines complete with wiring harnesses, ECUs and custom programmed Maps.

I just buy wrecked complete cars. I just bought a 98 Camaro wrecked in front for $3500

Then just part the car out and pay for the motor/trans. Free after you part the car out.

I just bought a complete dropout from a place in Booneville, MS called Lambert Auto Salvage. They are on ebay quite a bit. Great folks to deal with and prices are reasoonable.

I was really impressed at how un-damaged the assembly was. No cut wires, dings, scratches, etc.

I drove there to see what I was getting before laying down the cash, even though he sent me some good photos.

In the future, I would not hesitate to let them ship an engine/trans assembly to me. They package it up really nice in an enclosed wooden crate.

I'd post a wanted ad on this board, or check with some reputable sellers on ebay. You can also try other LS1/2 or 4th gen board classifieds.

I've bought rims and various other pieces from Billy Graham, hes a good dude to work with. If he tells you the part is clean, its freakin clean. Never had any problems buying stuff from him.
