Carbed LSx??
I have 2002 Camaro LS-1 V-8 engine( Block Cast #12559378, Cylinder Head #241 and Crankshaft #12552216) and would like to have build on my LS-1 with Carburetor Manifold and Distributor without electronic/computer control in future. I would like to run 520-600 horsepower on Road Course/Drag Street.
I need to know where I can get information about it. I need find out what components what I need to add on my LS1 engine with NO computer control.
If you do know about it, please email me or who I can speak to?
Please let me know about it.
Thank you so much for replying me .

WAR has a kit out that uses buick coils and traditional plug wires, but still employs the factory sensors above, minus the coil packs.
there are other units out, but none are needed for the carb, lil too exaggerated for a fuel leak, they lean more towards EFI, but there are other(more expensive) alternatives
ill be selling my edelbrock box, if i can get my hands on a MSD unit.
good luck.

thanks.
the msd box looks like the ticket in the long run, being able to program curves and such.
the edelbrock box is boring. they incorporate entirely too much timing in the pills, and there is not a thing you can do to take them out.

I have talked to a few people and the general statement is it is about a 330RWHP car about 380-390 at the crank. I have been told buy a guy with a Built lt1 11.9 best ET oon muscle that a loose non-lockup converter will not show the true HP numbers. He runs 12.1-11.9 and makes 255rwhp with a 4000 non lockup stall and TH350. Solid roller LT1 with 11to1 compression full on suspension gears etc...
I am not worried about my dyno numbers. (259/337) I feel that I have a solid mid to low 13 second car... though I was shooting for high 12s. I have owned 3 camaros and ran them all at the track so My butmeter is decent. I will get it to the track soon to test it in the real world.

track times should show otherwise friday night, cause it pulls really nice now.
