Help Asap! ok i have a 99 ls1 motor with a 01 t 56 i just put a new slave cylinder in and a new master and the dam thing wont go in to gear and if i start it in gear the cluch doesnt disingauge so it keep s moving untill it dies? i had the tranny out for the second time any one no what my problem could be .?????????
No Clutch? Hey, are you sure you bled all the air out? Is your clutch pedal nice and firm thruogh the full range of travel from the top to the floor? One way you can tell if theres still air is to pump the pedal 5-10 times and see if it will go into gear and then when you release the pedal you will probably have to pump it up again.

There's a procedure for using a Mity-Vac to pull the air from the master cyl, basically just fill the clutch reservoir w/ fluid, use the conical tip on the Mity-Vac seated into the hole at the bottom of the reservoir, pull a vacuum, then quickly remove the cone so that the vacuum you created is backfilled w/ fluid from the reservoir.
