Default 2002 Exhaust cat flanges needed ASAP

Hi, my cars sitting at a custom exhaust shop waiting to get a full exhaust installed. They can't locate anyone who sells or fabricates the flanges that connect the stock cats to the exhaust manifolds. I provided universal cats and two mufflers. Since this engine is in an RX-7, i doubt stock F-body cats fit, not that I want them anyway. I need the flanges in my hand/ at my door by this Saturday or sooner, can anyone make that happen?

This engine is from a 2002 Pontiac TA 5.7L

or you can cu tthem off and put on aftermarket style. Or get a stock Y pipe and cut off the ends and have them welded on. you wont be able to do that on the manifold side, so you'll need someone with damaged shorties or possibly contacting a shorty manufacturer.

There's no way I can cut the existing flange off of the manifold without taking the manifolds out of the car. The car is at the shop, it can't get back and forth without being towed. Can anyone get me a template with the dimensions of both flanges and make them available online? I might just buy some 1/2" steel and try to make them myself.

Sorry, I just got rid of both my Y and cats.

I think you can get away with 1/4" as well.

If anyone has a cat or stock Y pipe laying around (check the for sale section), you might PM them and ask them to trace it for you.

Seems like 1/4" plate and a plasma cutter (or plain ol'
gas torch & grinder) would do just as well. A pair of
exhaust gaskets (which you will need anyway) make
a dandy template for the drilling & cutting. The other
option that might turn up local & quick, is junk cats
(like Midas, boneyard or a dealership) and cut off what
you don't want.

I don't remember if I have a spare set in the storage
unit or not.

Yeah that would be great, but I'm up at school for the week and I want this done by Saturday. I ordered two Stainless steel flanges for $30 each and $21 for 3 day shipping from Stainlessworks.net but now I need the gaskets. I went to local Autozone Napa and Lappens but they didnt have them. Does anyone know where I can get them online and get them shipped quick? Does anyone know the part numbers for the big parts dealers, Napa, autozone, etc? The website catalog for these parts are really vague and there are no diagrams.

I have the two flanges in my garage. Stainless works charged me 30 each so if you want them, thats what I'd let them go for

I bought a pair of gaskets a while back for a chevy dealer and I can get you the part #s when I get home in a couple of hours. If anyone else has them, go ahead and reply.

Well I found the two triangular gaskets (between exhaust maniflod and cats)
1998-2002
Drivers side: # 12555806 MSRP $8.44 GMPD: $4.81
Passengers Side: 88891747 MSRP $11.76 GMPD $6.71

Can't find the doughnut gasket part numbers anywhere, in any of the drawings. Do they still use them? Between the cats & Y pipe?

i got some universal gasket stuff from my local parts store. It was about $20 for a sheet. Like a metal sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard-ish stuff. I traced it and cut it to fit my manifolds and it works great.

You could allways take the old studs off the manifold and redrill and tap three new holes for a standard gasket and flange. If the car is all ready at the exhaust shop I don't think it would be too hard for them to do no?
