Default trans question

Any idea if the Zf 6spd will bolt up to an LSx motor?

My dad's 94 vette just caught fire and looking into possibilities...

No ideas. Does the LSx series engine have the same bolt pattern on the bell housing? Anyone know?

Lightbulb LS1 pattern..........

As far as I know, they are the same with one bolt missing on the passenger side, top bolt. There may be flywhell issues though, as you will probably need a spacer. Good Luck.

If I Remember Correct The Zf Uses A Conventional Sbc/lt1 Bolt Pattern,i Have Adapted Atpi T5 To A Ls Motor With Disastrous Results To The Stock T5,i Had To Weld And Fab On The Bell Housing I Also To A Newer Type Tob From A 98 V6 3800 F-body And Eliminated The Fork Actuator Seeing As How The Ls Was Only A Bolt Ons, Headers, 02 Zo6 Cam It Grenaded The T5.any Ways On The Subject Of The Zf I Believe Its A Conventional Sbc Pattern

Yes, a ZF is a conventional SBC pattern. I know this as its currently attached to a Gen2 LT1. I want to know if I can bolt that trans, to an LS1.

Mostly cuz I have the ZF trans, and its stronger than the T56.

yes,
it will bolt up; but you will have to correctly space it..
ie lt1 and lsx flywheels different.
but otherwise it will bolt up with exception of one bolt on top passenger side.
