Cobra LS1 Well, my dad is doing an LS1 cobra.
note the custom motor mounts and the custom headers. . .1 3/4" SS

Re: Cobra LS1 Sound like a good deal. Has he already ordered the intake from the corvette? The reason I ask is the 2002 5.3 truck intakes do not have the EGR valves so if he went with one of those he would not have to use a block out cover on the EGR. The truck also has the adj fuel regulater and return line from the rail not internal in the tank like the covette and the f-bodys

So no new intake will be ordered, otherwise we'd just get a 2001+ F-body (ls6) intake. . .
Not to mention, that's one reason why he wanted this engine was cuz it was advertised as a 2001, thus it should have the LS6 intake. . .unfortunately it's a very EARLY 2001, therefore having the old intake. . .heads & block.
This will definitely have a 99% custom fuel system.
So no new intake will be ordered, otherwise we'd just get a 2001+ F-body (ls6) intake. . .
