So far i have figured what i think i need, plese correct and guide me if iam way too far in the woods

- T56 6 speed from ls1 camaro
- Custom PCM programmed for vats delete, cats and after cats 02s delete, lower fan swich and thermostat, what else?????
- need for custom "hot rod " wiring harness (WHERE?????)
- hot rod accessory sytems from speed performance ??
- i want to use C5 vette fly by wire gas pedal.
I know where to get LS6 engine ,but who can you recomende for computer programming and wiring harness ??? and plese point me some good webpages if you know.
Was this a heavy load of introducing me? Thanks for reading and i sooo happy to see iam not alone!
John
Derek, there are 2002 LS6 crate engines available via GM. they come without harness and alternator.
Othervise 405 HP to go!
John B ! your monte is SUPER!!!! thank you for answering many questions.
Did you know at street and performance is selling angle thermostat housings for tight installations! Cool!
Can some one explain me (plese try to tell it like for 5 years old kid!) How PCMs differ to another and is the power (LS6 405) programmed there by factory or does it just come plain and needs programmed by GM service and if so what they need for programming?
I got wery good service from john @ spaertech
since he know how set "fly by wire" throtle system for my vette!
Thanks!
Hope this helps
you really have no idea how much i have been asking these questions at different car related forums and noone havent had any idea.thank you for letting me know more.Since i too have been playing with old school engines and carburators this is something so new and i just hate to palns or baying parts wich i actually dont even know how do they work!!!!!!!!
This is a great forum!
Lets go deeper. i will bay my wiring and PCM from spaertech, but if i do modifications in future ,can i bay "LS1 edit" and program it my self for more??
Thanks!
I will always recommend LS1_Edit for people doing a swap because your motor will be running entirely different than what it was designed for and because you can fine tune your vehicle yourself. In your case you may have poor gas problems being in Europe and you would be able to compensate for this by adjusting your timing yourself.
Good luck!

as for gas we have wery good unleaded 98 octane! most dragracers use it with 12+ compression without a problem ,quite clean and fast fuel!
But is it so at i have to have "VIN" for LS1 edit ? How can i have vin because iam converting old car for ls6? or do i just use someones vin?
Did you find use of LS1 edit difficult? Do it take several miles fof PCM to "learn" for modifications?
Thanks!
Oh do you know are LS6 and LS1 camaro engines Throtlebodyes same size? I havnt decide yet what to use,fly by wire or just cable operated LS1 camaro throtlebody???
Too much choises for me!

"...No we do not need a VIN #. LS1-edit is locked to the PCM, not the VIN. When you go to program a PCM the first time, the system will ask you if you want to use your license with this PCM. WHen you select 'yes', then the setup will be tied to that PCM, and you can program it over and over. ...Dave @ carputing.com"
Hope that helps.
