5.3 LH6 in a 1987 BMW 535iS
Engine has been in and out a few times. Just completed mods on a Camaro stamped steel exhaust manifold for the driver's side. Trans tunnel surgery up next.

'00 Z28 LS1/ 4L60E (all stock) put into a '70 Chevy Longbed. Just got it running last week. Used Painless Wiring harness (#60509) and mounted PCM/fuses/relays/VATS bypass behind the seat. Relocated and replaced Fuel tank w/ stainless from Brothers(not reccomended!). Removed all EGR/Smog equip. (only using front O2 sensors). Fuel filter, flex lines and throttle cables from S&P. Lokar throttle pedal. New 4 row rad. and dual fans from "Old Air". Still need to have it re-programmed, tuned and to have exhaust put on- although it does sound good w/ 16" of straight pipe from the manifolds!

Datsun 280 Z LS1/4L60E
I have been lurking for awhile, and decided to register today. This is my little project-1977 280 Z with a 2002 Trans Am WS6 Ls1/4l60e. I have plans to install Twist machine paddle shifters, Speartech Harness and pcm mod, Wilwood brakes, Porsche 930 rear turbo flares, Autometer guages, Longacre pusbutton start and some other stuff in boxes waiting to install !!! Here is a picture as it stands today. I just need to install the Summit body electric harness, computer/harness and add fluids and see what happens !!!

The Double Nickel
1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Sports Coupe LS1/4L60E conversion.
The Sports Coupe is commonly called the 2 Door Hardtop or 'no-post' and originally came with a 'Blue Flame' 235 straight 6cyl or the 265 V8 'Hot One'. The V8 produced a blistering 205 bhp when equipped with the 4bbl carb and Powerglide transmission.
With the introduction of an LS1 into my classic iron and the addtional 150+ bhp it will add I feel I may want to find a '70 GTO to race across country ...anyone know if Warren Oates is still around?? LOL (for those of you who are too young that's reference to TWO LANE BLACKTOP).
As I progress I'll be posting pics and hope to glean some knowledge from folks who have already undertaken an LS conversion into a TriFive.

93 Sierra
Did a 4.8L 4L60E swap into my 93 Sierra W/T over winter 2006. Total budget swap, did the whole job for engine +<$1k. Made my own mount adapters (will be selling them soon).
99 F-body LS1 auto. Engine located to keep tail of trans in stock location, no driveshaft mods required.
03 SSR Converter
Spent up on custom fuel and tranny lines
Stock 95 Sierra V8 fan and shroud
Stock 2004 Silverado fan/clutch
Cal by ME
Stock SCSB 2004 Exhaust stretched 10" to fit 93 SCLB truck. Stock from heads back.
Sewer pipe intake
Battery relocated to DS on factory 2nd battery tray.
Easiest "hybrid" swap I ever did. Damn near bolt in.
Over 1500 miles on swap (beater weekend truck) 100% dead nuts, rock solid reliable. Hauled 6000# trailer, pavers, slag stone, mulch, engines... perfect beater/hauler.
Finish up work is to better mount PCM, eliminate 2004 BEC and use Painless 7 circuit fusebox, and make brackets to fit 93 Harrison A/C compressor on new engine. Wife and I had a kid, no time to cleanup.
