I have found a lot of great info on here but after searching and reading posts I haven't found all of what I need.
I am working on a 75 K20 4x4 and swapping into it a 08 4.8 from a Tahoe with dbw. I have the ecm pin out to work with but I am also looking for the pin out on the plug for the under dash fuse panel, and firewall plug, also needed is the pin out for a stock gauge cluster 06 silverado. I am currently working on identifying all the leftover plugs on the engine harness so any help there would be great too.

1) 1983 GMC High Sierra K2500 w/400, SM-465, NP208
2) LQ4/NV4500/NP241
3) Nothing good yet for pictures, just a dirty motor on a stand and truck I am still driving.
I want to put together a nicely built motor with great driveability, great power, and lots of longevity. Oh yeah, going to look as stock as possible. Looking at GMPP Manifold 88958675 with the FAST Air-Only throttle body 304149 hiding under a correct tall air cleaner. Can't decide if I should have the manifold bosses drilled for injectors or get the throttle body with the injectors on it. Was wanting to use a GM ECM, but I haven't been able to find info on it controlling 4 injectors (FAST) instead of the full compliment of 8 (manifold).

Prostreet pickup with a modern twist that will have some decent streetability. Will be going to a big single turbo before too long. Quite a few parts are already accumulated for the turbo setup

51 Nash (just like this one but more of a race car. This is the other car my father-in-law currently owns) Going for 10.50's in this build and going for a more sinister look, not polished at all

6.2 L92, headwork, cam and FAST 102 Intake w/ T350 to a Ford 9"

This is all being done on a 00 2wd Blazer frame, probably going to see me post a lot of questions about this swap since it's my father-in-laws/my first LS swap build.

Hey everyone!
Been a lurker here for a few months...and time I introduced myself.
I'm working on a new track car (for me) to go along with my daily driver...

I bought a '92 ZR1 rolling chassis last year...and had originally planned to drop a 427 Gen 1 into it until my machinist died and all my parts mysteriously were not there when I went to claim them.
SO, now I have to start over from scratch...and since there isn't really any good reason to do it with a Gen 1 motor, I started to research dropping an LSx into it.
Plans are:
With the ZR1 body I can cram 335's under the rear end so I have at least SOME good tire patches to maintain traction. This will be predominately a track/open road race car...street manners are not an issue.
I've already started acquiring some parts...
With the parts already acquired plus the LS7, it appears I'll have already shaved a good 300+ pounds from the car in LT1 trim and 450+ pounds in LT5 trim...all up high so the C/G will drop significantly.
This will be a slow process for me...I am just about to embark on building a new house for a friend. They start the foundation next week.
First I have a frame shop appointment to get the passenger frame rail pulled...it rode a guardrail at the drag strip after a blowout. Bent in ~1.5" and up ~ 1". Passenger door still operates easily...but needs to be addressed first before I start on anything else.

The cage I plan to model after the Greenwood G572 project...

I love that you can ACTUALLY see back between the "seats" with this design...basically putting a roll hoop above each seat.
Also, with the floor supports this way I can eliminate the "C" beam connecting the trans to the differential...and strengthen the entire drivetrain.
I hope to have it done by next year (2014) in time for track season...but I may be dreaming with everything I have on my plate.
Gonna be a fun project...can't wait to get started and will certainly keep everyone apprised of the progress as I plug away at various portions.
There is a wealth of knowledge here...you guys rock!

Plans are:
- LS7 with 12.5:1 C/R running e85 or better
- Heads/cam/intake...shooting for about 650 RWHP...maybe a bit more later

- T56 with faceplated 2-5 gears
- Gen 1 Viper DANA 44 rear end
- C6 Z06 or Z07 calipers & rotors
- Full cage

Using 99 Firehawk donor car for LS1 into 69 Camaro. I plan to use the engine, automatic trans, computer, harness and throttle cables. What other parts will I need to use and what can I make fit from this wrecked 99 Firehawk donor car? Radiator? rear end? disc brakes?
