Paging SPEARTECH!!!! UPDATE ?????????,,,,,
My car is a 94 Z28 T56 that does 12.5s with a 1.90 60ft.
I want to go to a 97 4L60e to run 12.0 with 1.60 60ft.
The 4L60e will be built to stand up to 10.sec runs with 9 clutch pack etc etc.
The converter is a COAN that will stall around 3000-3200.
The PCM will be programmed by Ed Wright for shift points and lock up only in OD on highway.
Ed says he has resolved the high stall problems with 94-95s.
My engine is 94/my PCM is 95/my tranny is 97.
Are they compatible???
If I face a problem, what is it please.

As long as your PCM is flashed with a 95-97 calibration, and you have it wired correctly, you should be fine. 95 was the year they added the PWM torque converter control. That adds one additional wire from the trans to the PCM. As long as you are wired for that, you're there!

Thank you!!
The 94 does NOT have PWM TCC.
The 96 DOES have PWM TCC.
This wire is at position "U" on the round 4L60E connector.
