just kidding. I'm no purist, but that kinda takes the cake for pointlessness. It's an inferior FORD product. you'll not only **** off most chevy people, i'm sure ford people will be equally distressed seeing the car it's in.
I'd put a 32v corvette motor (LT5?) or a Northstar in it if you're looking for DOHC or something different...

if you wanted the DOHC stuff an LT5 ZR1 motor would be the most expensive route you could go... a 4.6 northstar would be a better choice for a 4.6 32v motor, and in the STS-V there is a supercharged version producing 450 hp, and its factory intercooled, so if you wanted to drop a bunch of money onto a swap for no apparent reason, other than being unique, just buy a crate SC northstar

The "arent smart enough to work on OHC motors" is plain BS. OHV engines are cheap to modify, make good power, lighter, and less expensive than their big-headed counterparts. Yeah, i'd like 32V DOHC V8, but I dont wanna buy 4 cams to mod the thing, search desperately and pay premiums for performance parts, and have a brick in the front of my car. I'll keep the "Low RPM" LSx engine.
And as for "people put GM motors...", suggesting GM only has engines with pushrods, last I checked, GM has quite a few...
3.6, Northstar, LT5 zr1, ecotec, 24V HFV6, (An excellent engine when turbo'd).. the 2.8 version..
get your facts straight before you insult the intelligence of board members, especially seeing as yours seems below par.
