Sorry guys

I lost interest for a couple of weeks after things went wrong, and I didn`t make PVS at the Pod.
Then I broke my left thumb, and then I went on holiday.

Gonna take my time now, put right the all the things that went wrong, and redo others that I wasn`t happy with, and fit the SC too

I`m shifting furniture and decorating at the mo. so no updates for while yet

I`ve not touched the Astra yet, was gonna start again this week, but my wife went into hospital last tuesday (she has COPD) came home this tuesday, so I`m busy looking after her at the mo. As soon as she is well enough to cope with day to day things, I`ll be back on it

Sorry to hear that man. Gotta take care of what is important in life like our loved ones. The hobbies will always be there. Good luck!

Cool

Hey Pete, thought I'd add a real quick note to maybe give ya a bit of encouragement. While I know that I couldn't come close to matching your fabrication skills (which have no doubt come via many months of experience), reading this & seeing the pictures certainly provides inspiration for the rest of us to give it our best shot.

I've learned the hard way over the last couple of years that despite one's best intentions/desires, sometimes "real life" simply grabs you by the scruff of the neck & demands your full attention. Take care of the important things in life, but don't lose sight of the fact that you're within sight of the finish line... (And a lot of us are pretty stoked about this project!)

Best of luck/Well done!!

Ok guys

Thanks for your loyal support, most appreciated

Here`s the latest, I was gonna start back on her over the christmas period, only to be informed that the guy we rent the workshop from is giving up the building. Turns out, the new owner is my boss, but I still have to vacate the premises. He`s allowing me to erect a temporary workshop 8m long 4 m wide 3.5m high with a roller door (free of charge), to finish the project.

So I`m about to order a foam filled fuel cell from ATL labs. Int pump / filter / regulator with spill collector. I`m not s/charging yet, but what pressure pump should I go for incase I do, baring in mind the reg is rated from 4-12 bar ?

My wife recovered quite well from the last exacerbation, but is now recovering from shingles

Just throw an 044 in tank. Standard LS base pressure is around 4 bar ( 58psi ) so it would make sense to use that ( no vacuum reference, although when you boost it, it will need referenced )

the pumps do not control pressure, thats the regulators job.

God to hear you're back on the job.....although pity about being evicted from the garage

Thanks Stevie, hows things with you ?

I know I asked these questions before, but just wanted to make sure I`m going in the right direction. ATL can supply everything intank for the returnless system, but it aint cheap.

Went my first PH meet yesterday http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/t...p?h=0&t=499161

In my new toy .......

Thanks mate, she`s over the shingles, but it`s day to day with the copd, usually copes well between exacerbations.
