Wow, that's a wild looking car. The work you're doing looks to be top notch, should be a fun ride when it's all done.

Keep up the great work!

That is really, really cool. What is Vauxhall...are they their own company or some kind of subsidary of GM/Ford etc?

Also how did you go about deciding where to make mounts for the shocks and such...how do you get the geometry just right for that?

Vauxhall is, a part of GM, as is Holden and Opel.

As for suspension mounts and geometry ..... experience buddy, my mate helping me, is a member of the BHRA and is a coachbuilder by trade.

I rented (leased) an Opel Astra in Ireland. I thought it was a sweet little car (not so little over there). I thought the better looking two-doors had enormous potential. You're taking that potential to the limit! Your work looks clean and well-planned. That thing is going to be the dog's bollocks!

Seeing your project pics, reminds me, I must get some pics of the other projects in the workshop.

There`s a Ford Cougar, a Dodge Coronet, a 1948 Ford and a Kaiser. All these belong to BHRA members

If you`re really serious, you could always import one.

The GTO drivetrain I imported from Schram Auto Parts, took 6 weeks to arrive, but I was in no hurry, I am now tho, cant wait to fire her up for the first time
