I am trying to find a place where I can get a 1/4" npt female to M16x1.5 male adapter for the oil pressure sending unit. I need to switch it over from the LS1 sender to the one originally on my S10. That way the gauge works properly and the fuel pump safety is in effect still. I am trying to make this all work as stock.... Also I am trying to find an adapter for the temp sender...to put the factory S10 temp sender in the passenger side head. I dont know yet what thread pitch the original S10 sender is...but I know it is M12x1.5 on the head. So if anyone can chime in on this I would be very much abliged.
Thanks.....Josh-

I made one from an old broken sending unit. I simply drilled out the fitting and tapped it 1/4" NPT. I think I have another one I could convert and sell if you can't find one locally.

I would suggest calling Orme Brothers in California for your fitting (818-885-1414). These guys are a warehouse distributor for many product lines of connectors and AN manufacturers. If that doen not work, VDO used to carry some of these style adapter fittings in their product catalog. Good luck. Mac

1/4" = 6.35mm
16mm - 6.35mm = 9.65..
9.65 / 2 = 4.82500
so you have about a 4.5mm thick ring around the edge of the adapter... plus the width of the hex head... yea, thats not as thin as i first thought.
(and yes, im bored)
