Anyone here happened to have notched the fbody pan themselves, or know a link to where the dimensions would be? I can weld aluminum just need to know what is necessary to trim to get it to fit in a 68 camaro.

I plan on using Hooker Headers with these plates. Gmag has used them and everything clears fine.

What adaptors fit the first gen power steering box for adapting the lines from the LS power steering pump? In my case I'm installing a 2001 5.3 truck motor into a 67 camaro. Thanks.

Does anyone know of an affordable fuel tank with baffles, pump and sending unit that is a direct bolt in for a 69 Camaro?

For the power steering, you might want to consider the third gen box upgrade at this time instead of getting adapters for the first gen box. The third gen box is a nice upgrade for relatively low cost. Plus you may not need the adapters as I think the 3rd gen box is metric also.

Thanks blevinator for the tanks inc site. I wasn't impressed with the spectra tanks and what I've read about them.

No problem.
Finally, someone who actually charges what something is worth!
People think the "Corvette Tax" is so much should try building a first gen Camaro.

Also glad to see Tanks Inc offers the 400lph Walbro as part of their solutions.
Way to go Tanks Inc!

I'm using the upgraded steering box from Chris Alston Chassisworks. Was guessing connections were same as stock. Will have to look that up. My hope was to put adapters on both the pump and steering box and run -6 lines. Prob push lock like the fuel lines if the pressure isnt too high. I just dropped the motor/trans in mine so its time for all the details like wiring install, P/S lines, fuel lines and coolant lines. Wish people in this area knew anything about swaps.

Sorry can't help ya much with the Chassisworks box. FWIW when I did my 3rd gen box upgrade, I took the box and my first gen pressure hose to NAPA and was able to find adapters. I prefered that over guessing over the phone with somebody. You might also want to check out www.camaros.net to see if anyone there can help. I thought PS pressures were too high to use push lock or quick connect type connections, but I'm not sure.

Working with cable style throttle... anyone that went this route what was the best way to go? I seen earlier where you can use a V6 pedal. What about the cable, don't want to go too short.

Anyone know of a way to use the factory 02 5.3 truck motor with 4l60e with a 67 camaro stock cluster. I'm wanting to try and use stock cluster or upgrade to electronic.
