I understand on the time restraints. I have been preoccupied on a pontoon boat. Finished it up tonight!!! I was trying to work the Camaro in between projects and realized it would be better to finish one and move onto the next. Next being my ride! Good luck on the assembly. Seems me and you will be the last ones to the finish line. Maybe all of the other guys will work out the bugs and we can learn from them? Maybe!

Just catching up on your build this afternoon. My '69 Nova build has quite a few similarities with yours, using a Rick's Tank, started out modifying the stock subframe for clearance, switched to an aftermarket subframe (referenced on page 15 of your build)... and unfortunately limited time to work on them. Keep up the good work, and hope you good success in the future job. I spent 6 years contracting for NASA here in Huntsville, and was successful making the switch to the chemical industry. There is light beyond Gov contracting...

I know's theres life after the govt.!!! have to find it,
I've seen your build looks great! finding time is a pain, I picked up my ring from the GM dealer for my Ricks Tank today!
Did you get a SMD sub from Kansas!! I need to go bolt shopping this weekend, I try to do a little every night,

My subframe was built by Martz Chassis (Bedford, PA) http://www.martzchassis.net/. A local guy put it up for sale, and I just so happened to be reading up on what is required to add a front steer rack and pinion in a Nova. I splurged a little on the subframe, but picked up a bunch of room in the engine bay for my future turbo plumbing, dropped some weight off the front of the car, and improved the steering and handling.
I currently have the engine and transmission bolted in, wiring harness is done, and fuel system is done. I still have to extend my driveshaft (was a little short to begin with), install a steering shaft, connect exhaust manifolds to my pipes, figure out the cooling hoses, buy O2 sensors, buy IAT sensor... my goal is to get it running naturally aspirated and work through any details and then start the turbo install this fall. I want to drive it to a local car show on July 23.

I might have to sell some of this old stuff off,
