First trip to the track

Well the track opened last night, so I finally got to run my car. The car ran great and was actually faster than I thought it would be. I only got to make three passes, and this was my best.

Not bad for a full weight 95 mustang that I drive every day, and still gets 20mpg. I going to go back next week and try to get in the tens with a 100 shot.

also, what is "full weight"? around 3200 + - lbs? Wondering what my car will run, i'm shooting for 2800lbs..

The car has all of the factory equipment still (a/c, power windows, power seats) the only weight savings I did was the tubular k-member. The motor is a 2000 with an A4 tranny, the only mods to the engine are 1 3/4 long tubes, Tr224 cam, custom cold air, and Jesse @ wait4me performance did the tune for me. The tranny is stock with a Yank 3200 converter, and the 8.8 has 3.55 gears. As far as the weight goes I would imagine it is at least 3200 with me in it, but i haven't had a chance to weigh it yet. Thanks for the compliments.

Good job! Thats pretty quick. You give me hope that my 2800 lb Monza will get in the mid to low 12's.

The suspension is all stock except it has tubular lower control arms in the rear. I am using Mickey Thompson 275-50-15 drag radials, and I think I'm try unhooking the front sway bar to see if that helps any.
