LS2 Z28 track results
Running a stock program I was at 11.9-12.0 AFR through the whole run, so it should get faster. Shifts were at 6400rpm, which could have been higher. And the track was not hooking for anyone. So enough with the disclaimers and excuses, here is the time:
7.84 @ 91.1 1/8th-mile 1.95 60'
94 Z28 with full interior, full weight. LS2 crate engine with pacesetter headers and dual exhaust system. Th350 with a fuddle converter.
It did about what I expected with a stock program, so I am happy.
Thanks again to the conversion forum for helping me go from being an LSx swap dummy to where I am now.
Updated time last night:
1.8544 60'
5.0497 330'
7.7364 660'
91.30 mph
(85 degrees versus 55 degrees in the previous post)
That was on a stock program with a slight PE table change. It has more in it, especially when I can leave full throttle which the track wouldn't handle. They closed early last night for safety reasons saying the track was too slick, so I only got 4 passes.

What else is done to the car? Gears, suspension etc.? I wonder how heavy it really is also.
Btw, you ever trek over to Redline? That track is really nice, but its about an hour and a half away from me. I usually go watch the Pro-Mods when they are there, and run the car inbetween rounds. And we have a local track here in Paris that I go to often.
Anyways, good luck on tuning the beast and have fun

It has 3.73 gears. The suspension is totally stock, down to the 130k mile rear control arm bushings. Just like it sits now (except with a 4L60E and stock converter), with the LT1 it weighed 3550 with me in it. I think it lost over 100 lbs since then. I run the stock wheels with BFG drag radials out back. Still have a steel hood, back seats, etc.

I have been there once, and I liked it alot compared to Denton. I will be going there next time out, as it is the next closest track to me.

I finally figured out how to configure the wideband (I think). I have been guessing up until now, but it helps that it is a "stock" engine so at least I have somewhere to start.
Ive got the HPtuners also and its been taking along time to try to be able to actually "tune" with it. Havent really gotten anything out of it yet, but sooner or later I will. I got it mostly for turning off dtc's from the swap and so on.
Maybe I'll see you at track someday.
