And no dice on the pics for the clutch master. There is no way ill be able to get a worthwhile pic. And there's no way im taking the dash out to get a good pic. Sorry.

Just use a turbocoupe pedals and immitate the factory design of the turbocoupe and everything will work.
Music to me ears Thanks for the advice!

That's too funny...I talked to Kooks last month and they were basically laughing at me and they tried referring me to various f-body tuners

f-body headers wont work. I tried a buddies set to see if the would fit. The steering shaft is a huge problem with those. Although the short tube f-budy heads work. I think brains has tried that setup.

A buddy put Pacesetters in his LS1 Mustang, but it was pretty ugly. Definitely didn't fit correctly and needed a LOT of BFH work. He ended up dinging the primaries in several locations to make them work. I personally can't do work like that, so I ended up cutting up a set of Summit Racing headers and welding 'em up to fit properly. I've got more clearance than I know what to do with now

I also used the Mac 1 3/4 351 long tubes with the ls1 flanges, but my drivers side header took about 10 minutes to fit but the passanger side was much harder.

talk to lemmons headers, i talked to them about 6 months ago and they said that they were getting quite a bit of calls regarding swap headers for an ls1 in a fox.
the guy told me he would build them if i bought him the plastic model of the engine ( an he would deduct the price from the total cost) so they can mock it up at their shop ( i think they have a mock up mustang for those deals at AJE racing , who are good friends of lemmons).

so why not try to get them a group of people , kinda like a group buy so they would do this??

Lemmons is not cheap, by any means. They'll be over a grand a set.

I agree that's a bit steep, but I'm a lousy welder and I'd like a set of 1 3/4" headers that work well (as far as fitment and power is concerned). I'm actually going to try and adapt my 1 3/4" 302-based BBK's to a set of LS1 flanges (since I have a set sitting around), and if I can't make that work I'd like to have the "easy way out" option

No header company will make make a production set of ls1 fox swap headers. There are too many things to clear for them to work. You better off bringing some j bends to an exhaust shop and let them modify your 302 headers. Youll come out cheaper ans it will fit right the first time. Id hate to spend a grand on a set of headers where they were designed with a 4.6l k-member in ming and your using a k-member with chevy mounts. They mount the motor in 2 completely different spots. They would have too many problems making a set that fit the majority.

Good point on the K-member, I'm using the AJE piece with the SBC mounts, which is different from what I've seen. I suppose this is why some folks are having trouble with fitment when using the same parts

You realists need to quit dashing my hopes and dreams for an easy fix

yeah yeah I'm kidding, nothing good ever comes easy

The "right" way to do it would be to build a "kit" ... ie. a package deal, where you get the K-member, motor mounts, and headers that all match. I don't think anyone is married to a certain K-member, as long as its reliable and locates things properly.
