LX1, where is the placement of the shifter, is it in the stock location, and did you have to use another rear housing?

Thanks.

The shifter is in the stock location however it is near the rear of the hole on the floor. The shifter will shift into all gears however the boot needs to be removed to do this. Ill solve that problem with a short throw and a custom handle. Then I can leave the boot on all the time. Right now I can only use 1-3-5-R with the boot on.

As a recomendation I would not go with the florida50 cluster. There prices on the site do NOT reflect what they charge. If I remember right its something like $200 more. Get the one from mc-machine. The mc-machine one also has factory style turn signal indicators and warning lights. The florida used plain led lights.

i personally like my florida 5.0 cluster. the price was a little more because of the led lights for the signals, but not even $100 more, more less $200 more. i would have told them where they could stick it if that were the case. however, i don't know if you mean one were to buy the guages directly through them and got the whole setup complete and wired up. i could care less about the signals too, just as long as i know i've got a signal or high beam on incase i forget to shut it off. i hate when people do that.

Yeah, the price they quoted my was with guages and all. I saved over 200 by going with the mc-machine setup and got my own gauges. All in all both look good. I just got a better deal on the mc machine cluster.

I may have said this already , but this swap was sooo simple it left me with a constant feeling of something major will go worng, but so far its still kicking!

if you ask me , this is as easy as pulling a stock ford motor and putting it in.
