Default Lokar Steel Braided Dipstick Tube Question

I purchased the above for my LS1 and it came with no directions. What's the preferred method of "seating" the shaft in the block? I tried pushing it in with no luck...would appreciate someone's input. Thanks!

Stop, Call Lokar, there was a bad run of these. If you force it, it will break off in your motor. I sent mine back and they sent a replacement that slide right in.

Agreed, I had two last year that had too big an Oring on them, but I just reused the original Oring off my stock dipstick.

not to threadjack, but would this dipstick work on an engine using the flipped truck manifolds as turbo manifolds?
