Temp Gauge

I just fot back from the stealership to get an 98 LS1 temp sending unit for my stock 89 temp gauge? Did i get the right one? Cause the sensor has 3 prongs inside and according to the diagram it shows one wire??

im not sure about 3rd gens but ive been told and read several places that the 98 sensor is what you need for the lt1-ls1 swap. i would assume it would work for your camaro as well..

Yes it will work, I don`t know if the gauge will be perfectly accurate but I have heard it is very close. Wire pin A brown wire to ground, pin B yellow to the computer, and pin C dark green is the feed for your factory gauge.

Sorry for being in such in a hurry

Ok, since i just need the gauge to work i just need to use the brown and dark green to make it work. COO, now where could i get a connector to plug into there with pig tales?
