Power on: Did the transfer case remain in stock position in your setup? So the driveline lenghts are original (or not?)??

Seems like it did remain in the stock position in the first photos.

What auto tranny have you got?

The transfer case was attached by a Advance Adapter to the 4L60E 4X4 Trans. The drive line did move more towards the front. Needed to shorten the rear and add to the front shaft. The transer case is in the stock position from the the firsit photo till laying rubber NOW!!
Thanks

Power on: Thanks for the comment. I am using a shorter 3-speed tranny (TCI TH350 4x4) so I should be able to retain the original position of the transfer case.

Why I am asking this is that it may be that I am changing in axles that have a quite a long pinion (nose) and the transfer case should remain in stock position to be able to do this.

Sorry for the delays. I been working on other projects lately (Subaru EATING BUGGY) The cable is from LOKAR and can be cut to length. As for the Air Box it was custom being that I could not find one for a 5.3 CJ. The Temps with the box is just about ambient (here in HI 70f. to 80f. with Clear Blue Sky's) as compared to 150f. to 180f. without it. Temps were taken from the OB2. I can really feel the difference in response. I'll try and look for the part# of the cable and let you know.
Thanks

That's a clean install! Good job man! It's too bad those headers don't turn back, I might be able to use them if they did...

POWER ON, I'm doing a similar swap with the 5.3 and the stock t-18. How much was the Radiator/fan set up? Did you upgrade the stock axles and do they hold up to what you have in it, or did you swap them out?
