LS2 in Monte SS
I'm looking at putting an LS2 into my Monte SS with a 4l60e trans. I have a few questions that I've been searching for a while. In terms of the harness, who makes a real good one that is complete? Do I need to stay with the "drive by wire" throttle body or can I retrofit traditional cable throttle body? If I have to use the "drive by wire", which pedal assembly should I get? Will any LS series 4l60e trans work or do I need the ones that only came with the LS2? I would like to find a donor car but they're pretty rare. I might just get new stuff. Thanks in advance. I am pretty sure you would need to stick with the ETC since there would be no real way to program the compuer to handle a cable TB.
I think though you could use an LS1 style computer to run it all and then you could go with a cable setup.

since you're buying a harness, any plug diffs (for example, some have the VSS on the other side of the trans) can be accommodated for.
