put it in the car sunday, drove it last night and it's happy to be alive. tried to drive it to work this morning and i found out the hard way that my battery cable was a bit too close to my pass side muffler and i had a little fire action going on. put it out using my jacket after disconnecting my battery. looks like the only thing crispy is the sheathing on the cable but it sure was enough to give me a good scare. i'll get some more pics/vids up soon and hopefully a dyno this week.

you coming? that would be killer. i'm all ready to go.

dynoed the car today, 332/326 and didn't get to do any tuning as HPTuners didn't get us the credits to use the program . the motor only has 120 or so miles on it so the numbers don't seem too bad and the air/fuel is pretty nice and flat around 13.0. i'll assume after a good tune maybe 365-370, maybe a little less since i'm only running modified C5 manifolds.

drives great, just need to get used to the welded diff... that was the biggest thing messing with me all day. i tried the first run in 2nd and was immediately on the limiter as soon as i started my slide. ended up just running 3rd through the whole course.

Does anyone know how the LS1 stock revlimiter works?
Does it pull out timing or fuel or both?
How safe is it to bounce off of it for any length of time?
