nice! Im still in planning stages for my future LSx power mustang need to get rid of a few projects before I start another!

I'll be the first to ask... what did you use for headers and how did you have to modify them to fit?

and what k-member are you using?

most gm transmissions work except for 4L80e, TH400s and PGs.

TH350, 700R4, 200R4 and of course 4L60e work.

i got mine from a chevy van with a 700R4 because it had a long tail shaft.

i have another one from a blazer if you want to try it.

i bought the headers from ls1coupe, a member on the board.they are hooker supper comp's for trick flow high ports for a fox with ls1 flanges.he made them,i dont know if he did any thing to em other than the flang swap

my k-member is a qa1 for a 4.6 powdercoted blue with custom motor mounts (not the 4.6 mounts)

hears some pic's of ls1coupe's car

vanilla- do you have any pics with the wiring done? i am working on my harness now and just want some ideas of how different people are doing it. i think i am going to mount the PCM in front of the passenger side strut tower.

zigriod- for headers i used BBK 1 3/4 351W long tubes with LS1 flanges. i had midas make the ends of the tubes round. the passenger side was straight foreward. the drivers side i just shortened the two rear tubes about two inches and bent them into the flange to tuck them underneath the steering shaft.

That's where I mounted my PCM as well. The harness fits as-is like it was meant to be there

You got it easy with headers that dont take much to fit and tubular K members. I have to customs EVERYTHING on my car. Looks great, take some better pics!

it's bigger,to fit that huge 4.6,so you have room for headers, and it sets the motor back
