first thing. sry about the pics. wife said the batteries were dead. be one more day.
second thing. which i feel stupid for. i left the top bushing caps off the rear end and is was just jumping up where there was a gap (i feel dumb). got powersteering tonight. going to just drive the car around town at first and make sure there are no problems. and everything in working order. but i would say close to complete. no wipers yet. and just alittle bit of wiring left.

only thing left major to do is finsh welding up the sway bar brackets. we had em tacked up and they were up there till 100' from parking it tonight and i heard something hit (was just making sure everything cleared before we welded them 100%). sway bar droped down but ill finsh it the next time i work on it. maybe tomorrow. and ill get those pics for you.

it was late so i only got a few pics. i took a video on the camera but cant veiw it on the pc. ill get one in a few weeks.

driver side mount
top view

i got the check engine light working, the check engine light is on so something is not 100%. im fixing to search for checking the problem codes. and my (one speed) wind sheild wipers working. but my 150 amp main fuse poped. monday im getting a bigger one. i put a jumper on it and everything is working so im pretty sure i dont have any shorts just too small of a fuse and the wires going to the fuse was not very tight and the motor wasnt running and i had alot of stuff on. just some more little stuff to do. but i think ill be doing little stuff for awhile.

Looks good! Do you have some part numbers and where you purchased them for the intake setup you are using? Thanks, Ken

that rubber 90 came from hinson (i couldnt find one anywhere). s/1 on this site put a link up to a intake website but that was just one more person to deal with. the 3 1/2" coupling came from the place where im getting the car dynoed. i went by to ask him some questions and asked him where to get one and he gave me that one. the pipe is some of my exhaust pipe that was left over. the intake stuff was the hardest stuff to find, localy anyway. im still looking for some 3 1/2" alum pipe to make a real intake pipe with. the filter is some oem K&N filter from autozone. i just went in and opened boxes till i found one that was 3 1/2" inside and looked like what i wanted.

i did get a new 200 amp fuse saturday and everything is working so far. i took the car on a 60 mile round trip saturday, no problems yet. still need to finish hooking up the OBDII plug. maybe dyno this week. i need to call to make sure. i still have a slow leak on my master cylinder. i've just been putting it off. works great just have to keep a eye on fluids. i didnt have to put a new spring on. i just didnt tightin down the screw that goes to the pedal was all that was wrong with it.

here some info i found and used for my wind sheild wipers. i hooked up just enough to have high on a toggle switch. will do more to them later.

The wiper motor itself has 5 wires:
Black, Lightgreen, Lightgreen/red, Lightgreen/Black, and orange.
THe black runs right to ground.
The Lightgreen hits power both to the wiper motor, the wiper amplifier. Oh, and the washer motor. ITs switched 12V.
Lightgreen/Red runs right to F3 plug, and on to the switch. Wipers: Low
So does Lightgreen/Black, wipers: high
The orange wire simply runs to the amplifier.
COming out of the amplifier, you have 6 wires.
We already know orange goes to the motor-
We know Lightgreen gets switched 12V from F3 (its on a 20Amp fuse, carefull what you tie in)
The PINK wire hits the washer & amplifier with a ground, from the main wiper switch
Blue/yellow runs from Wiper amplifier, into F3, then to wiper switch
Purple goes into F3 from the amp, SE 240sx model only, Some kind of variable wiper thihng.
Brown actually runs FROM the wiper switch, comes OUT of F3 as brown and runs to the amp.

8:41 Brown Off and Int switch for WIpers, from F3 to Wiper Amp
7:42 Lightgreen/Red Wiper Low gets grounded to activate
6:43 Lightgreen/Black Wiper high gets grounded to activate
5:44 LightGreen Gives power to the wipers & amplifier & washer (switched 12V 20Amp)
4:45 pink Wash switch (for windows & motor) grounds when you hit the switch

nice work man!
looks GREAT! my 240sx is probably crying out in the parking lot with the ka24e sohc still in it... lol.

for intake stuff I went thru ebay for 3.5" aluminum pipe and one 3.5" aluminum bend and one 3.5" rubber bend, then www.atpturbo.com had a hi-temp rubber 4" to 3.5" elbow and some 3.5" couplers for pretty cheap.

i put the car on the scale today. was alittle heavier then i was hoping but the front/rear %'s was pretty nice. alittle info first so you will know what was on the scale. the car is a stock 95 240sx se (loaded but with no sun roof). ls1, t56, j30 rear end, steel drive shaft, no a/c compressor, no a/c coil, no heater coil, no fan (for heat,a/c) fake glove box (just the cover is on, almost everything was taken out under the dash), long tube headers to 3" to y-pipe to 3.5" to a bullet style muffer,5/8 of a tank of gas. battery in the trunk and a empty no2 bottle. the only thing in the car that didnt need to be there was my lunch box (i gotta eat) and every fluid a car would need and a few little misc things. if my math is right the front/rear % is, front=53.42%, rear=46.58%. front is 1560, rear is 1360, total is 2920. take out the misc stuff and it will put it right back to stock weight, 2880. maybe will answer a few peoples questions about weight.

im set to go to the dyno nov 10.
edit: added battery location and the empty bottle.

Do you have the stock frontend? I have the S15 converison with fiberglass fenders and carbon fiber hood. What about wheels/tires? I have the Volk Racing LE28N Front 8.5x18, Rear 9.5x18 Forged Wheels, Nitto NT555R - F 235x40x18 R 265x35x18 Tires.
I am going to weigh the car before I pull the RB and the re-weigh it once the swap is complete. Keep up the good work. Ken

1st pull on the dyno was 280 hp (but he let off right at 5k) he didnt like the a/r ratios or something so he let off. the knock sensors was working and taking out timing for safety (if i understand him right). it was running lean (which is why i didnt wanna drive it till dyno). after tuning (a/r ratios and timing and all that good stuff) we got 341hp/353tq. max speed in 4th gear was 106.
