Best place to find a straight water neck
#4
When I plugged-in the year and application on the Summit site, I got a whole bunch of water necks. It appears that any late Chevy O-ring type fits the application (LS1), anyone? It would be far cheaper from Summit.
BTW, what I'm looking for is a real tight 90 degree water neck in order to address some clearance issues on my swap. Anyone have a source for something like thatthat?

I used this CSR unit listed in the FAQ sticky:

Works with a standard 350 sbc thermostat of your choice. If you need a 90 degree bend you can start with one of these and then get a formed hose to make the turn. Mine is working great. On a side note, the thermostat is supposed to be slightly loose inside to let a trickle of water get through when it's closed. Helps keep everything primed I'm told.

I need a real tight 90, so a formed hose is out of the question.

schweet. id love to make one.
if you'd just kindly ship your mill and your lathe over to my apartment, i'll have a electrician come in to wire up a couple 220 outlets.... then i'll be able to make a thermostat housing for almost nothing!
seriously though, that looks nice.
