Entire Engine Wiring Schematic Hello,
I've done a ton of searching but have not been able to find an entire engine wiring schematic. I'm building a custom harness for use with a non standard engine management setup so the pin-outs don't really tell me much.
I preferably need the schematic for a 98-2002 fbody, but it probably doesn't matter as long as it's for a some sort of LSX engine. Anyone have what i need or know where to find it? I see people posting various schematics for fog lights etc so someone must have this information.
I got one for a 99 fbody a few years back but i can't seem to find it.

you can buy one at any GM / Chevy or gmpartsdirect.com, note.. it is setup for the LS1 create engine and PCM .. based on 98 harness and pcm. but it should give you a good idea of what you need.

So far I have not seen a single complete schematic for the engine. All of the GM manuals that I have seen and the alldata schematics show portions of the engine wiring. If you look at all of them you will end up seeing every wire, but I have not seen a schematic where every wire was on one page. It is possible that the GM install manual has a schematic like that, but I don`t have the manual so I can`t confirm that.
The year of the schematic will end up mattering, the 98 computer has radically different pin outs than the 99+ so you should get a schematic for whatever year computer that you plan on running. You could do it with the wrong year schematic and pinouts for both years, but only 6 wires or so are in the same place so that would be a lot more unnecessary headaches.
