Has anyone measure their bellhousing?
I hate to doulbe post, but I've had a lot of views in my other thread in the manual transmission section without any answers.
MODS DELETE THIS IF NECCESARY.
Has anyone measured the height of a t56 bellhousing?
After countless searches on Goolge, I finally found a measurement of the width of the t56 bellhousing. I also have the height of a 4L60E.
Is the 4L60E bellhousing the same height as the T56 due to the same bolt pattern to the block??
Would it be safe to assume that the height of the bellhousing is relatively close to the width, due to the bellhousing being fairly circular??
Here is the link to the other thread. It has measurements for quite a few other transmissions, incase anyone needs them.

Thanks a lot for your help guys!

If I was a betting man, I would say that the height and width of the T56 and the 4L60 bellhousings will be very similar, if not identical, due to the same bolt pattern.

I got 17.5 inches across the front face from the bottom ledge to the top edge where the top bolt is. I just happened to have one in the garage and a tape measure sitting in front of me.
