My conversion and restoration is almost done I finally got to the point that i could bring the Chevelle out of the garage, wash it and drive it around the block. All I need is insurance and tags and its on the road. Then about two dozen small things to finish and it should be done.

I am at the same point as you, waiting for Grundy to send me my Insurance package, then off to the DMV to get my tags.. I have had it No-Op'd for the last 3 years. Got about 1/2 dozen more thing to get done, Exhaust, Front end and get a sheet metal guy to rebuild my Trans Tunnel.. (When it comes to sheet metal.. I burn everything LOL)..

Looks great! What radiator hoses did you use? Hows the traction? what rear gear do you have? What size rear tires? 4L60E or T56? Took me 4 years and every peace of sheet metal. You will love it!!!! Is it stock LS1?

Thanks for the compliments. The LS1 is stock right now with 4L60E and a 12 bolt 3.73 rear. Rear tires are 295x50x15 BFG TA radials on 10 inch rallys.

You did LOTS of work in a short amount of time.
Looks like it had lots of rust including parts of the frame, very clean repairs.
Clever way of lifting the body over the frame, straps and engine hoist.
Any pics of the interior? Just saw pics of the gauges on cardomain.

Here is a few more pictures. Interior pictures are before I cleaned, please excuse the dust and dirt. I have just over 20K in it, not counting my many hours of time.
