I would also like to know what kind of coating that is. I hope to order my LS1/fox headers on monday. I was going to have them thermal coated. I really dont care about the looks of the headers finish wise...I just want the coating thats going to last.
It's going to be a couple more weeks before I recieve my K-member.......god I can't wait.

Found a 81 notch with a SBC motor plate for $500 yesterday... We'll see what happens, me and a buddy have been discussing going in together to do it.
Keep us updated, this thread will be like a freakin' bible to the rest of us LOL.

finally got my home computer fixed(sorta), here's what i've been up to:
i've been on vacation all week, so ive had alot of time to work on the car. ran all the fuel lines, mounted the corvette regulator, made brackets for the aeromotive pump and mounted it, put the tailpipes in to make sure the fuel lines would be tucked away(dont mind the coathangers ) i still have to make the feed line from the tank sump(thought i had the fittings but turns out they were the wrong size , the PCM is on its way back from PCMforless, got my intake setup(just need a MAF).
