I have the AJE coilovers with 150 lb springs all the way down, and I'm still too high in the front. Guess I might need some softer springs LOL...

That's interesting. I would have thought that the full adjustable coilover would have eliminated the problem with the car sitting too high. I have the Maximum Motorsports coilover kit with Bilsteins. Spring rate is 250lb (not set up for drag). I have yet to install them, but this is making me a little concerned that it won't drop down enough (tubular k-member, LS1, fiberglass hood). We shall see . . .

Well, it's not that it's sky-high or sitting like his Mustang...but I would've expected that having them all the way down would tuck the front tires (in other words be too low) but that's not the case. But then again my car is really light, I don't have AC, PS, wipers, radio, etc...it was perfect before the LS1 swap, but we'll see once I have the 5 lb hood back on

Another good thing about coilovers is you can get a different height spring if you like. Maximum and Griggs both sell different heights of springs. Just a thought.

Dont go lighter on the spring, cut a 1/2 to 1 coil off the spring.

Nice! Makes me miss my 4 eye!

This exhaust worked very well, and wasn't too loud - with a stock(bolt-ons) motor. 3" Dr Gas! X, and Magnaflow mufflers, dumped.

i plan to run a full exhaust, tail pipes and all. most likely 2.5 with an x-pipe and dynomax ultra-flo's.

thanks for the kind words...

i got a bunch of parts this week, so i should have the 8.8 together so i can do the rear suspension, today im working on some of the wiring and organizing my garage(i moved last month so its a disaster and very aggrevating to try and find stuff thats paked away in boxes)

Are you going to bend the exhaust to go under your trans crossmember. Just wondering stock mustangs ones have humps in them for the exhaust.

...also Lane did you fab up your headers from scratch or did you start with the fox 351 swap headers and just change out the flanges?

I used Mac 351 swaps, but i did have to re-route 1 primary on the drivers side - to clear the steering shaft, and maybe two on the passenger side, to clear the K-member. It was a QA1 K-member.

Can't remember exactly - it's been about four years.
