Default install questions

putting a 6.0 ls1 into a 73 camaro, does anybody know where to get engine mounts and anywhere i can get headers. thanks for the help

Probably get better results posting this in the Hybrids section on this board.... folks there have put LS motors into just about everything.....

I would contact Energy Suspension. They do lots of conversion sets.

Along with S&P, You can also try t56kit.com and BRPhotrod.com, Hooker also makes the Engine Adpater plates and headers.

Not many choices on Headers.. Hookers and Custom built are about it.

Check out the Stickys at the top of the forum. Most of the questions you will might come up with have probably been asked and answered. Aslo try a search on Gen II swaps.

i used the brp setup without having to modify the oil pan. the closest fit i could find for headers was 02 camaro pacesetters. i've heard hooker makes a header andd mount combo, dont know anything about it though. more info over on nastyz28.com and pro-touring.com, but this sight has got the most info. joel

These are the adapter plates I'm using, but have not done a test fit yet. I'm told that these work without modifying the oilpan and you will have to notch the frame for the LS1 a/c compressor on the lower right like most of the replies above suggest.
