Weighed the Olds tonight, 3,750 lbs with a full tank.
I left the Air Force on Wednesday and moved to Michigan. The elevation change (dropped 3,700 ft) really made some fueling issues. The stock Spectre tank pump is not as strong as some anticipated. Within a half second of PE it runs out of fuel and maxes the injectors (did not run out of fuel until 5,800rpm at 4,300ft) I have a Bosch 044 pump on order and am considering some 80lbs injectors.

Ah well, enjoy that "free power" you've gotten with the lower altitude...

I was not really expecting a weight loss with the swap, mainly because of the 4L80 and blower, that made up for the aluminum heads and other lighter stuff.
I'm happy to be back home for sure, wish we could have met up but it will be a long time before im back out that direction!

Well, after a year of collecting parts and making minimal progress I have purchased all the parts to install the 6.0. Today the Champ oil pan's LSx swap pan showed up and is an incredible piece. All of the rest of my stuff will be here by the weekend. I have to give a sneak peek.

Hello, I know this is a year old build tread but i wanted to know if there any updates? Did you get your tune together, what kind of numbers did your setup put out? It would be great to hear about how your car currently performes...
Thanks

Hey guys, no further developments really to date. Got a mortgage, women and dog now so no time, no money.
Put a 90mm TB on it and picked up 2 psi. I lost 60' and ET but picked up 3mph in the 1/4, because of lack of traction, it makes so much bottom end torque it makes it hard to launch, plus the firm touring suspension doesn't help.
Car dyno'd at 440 rwhp @ 5900rpm, I was not even paying attention to the tach and just lifted when it sounded right, next dyno will run out to 6,300.
Installed the tow/haul function, placed the button on the gauge pillar pod. Set up the shifts for full firmness and high RPM shift points, like a comp mode.
Gonna do some stuff this winter, right now I am planning on Edelbrock headers, mounts and full stainless exhaust. Also will do a Hydro boost brake booster, and relocate the prop valve to the master cylinder.
Possibly going to a TKO 600 soon also. Carving the corners with the auto is not really fun.

Well well, time has taken its toll on the old Cutlass and its time for an upgrade. Here's a teaser: (crappy cell pic)
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
The only info I'm releasing at the moment is whats in my sig and what you can see in the pic
P.S. Yes thats budget A-body hydroboost, Total investment about $200 turn key (or would that be push brake?)
