Making any progress? Thanks for trying to help out a couple weeks ago. The SCT stuff is working, still trying to figure out how to use it in my spare time though. Waiting patiently to see what kind of power you put down.

Great build thread!
Having owned/driven a centrifugal supercharger car, I would highly recommend riding or driving one before you get too far along. The car was a blast, but has made me want either a roots blower or turbo. The centrifugal has all the lag of a turbo with the parasitic loss of the supercharger.

I am not trying to rain on your parade, just trying to share my experience to help others.

Best of luck! In the end, the car will be fun with boost, no matter what the source is.

I weighed my options heavily with this build, I was not a fan of the roots blower when I had it, moslty due to its heat soaking and hood height. I liked the instant boost and ease of install etc..

Turbo idea stuck around for a while in my head but could never pull the trigger, the stories of paint melting off the hood with huge underhood temps didnt appeal to me, I dont want to heatsoak everything under the hood. Also I do not like the idea of a big single, would want to go twins and the cost involved would be to great.

The centrifugal fell into my lap so to speak, there is a guy in my town that builds them to spec in his machine shop, he was looking for beta testers and I volunteered. Its uses a proprietary gear drive, 76mm compressor wheel on mine and a CNC'd scroll. He has one on a H/C/I 5.0 stang which comes into boost around 2400 and never stops. The pulley drive is a stand alone 8 rib that runs in front of the serpentine on its own billet pullies, he lathe's in house, so the correct drive ratio is only a chunk of aluminum and a few hours away.

Went with a turbo after all.... M/P 76 with KB Racing hotside for Silverado, LS1 F-body drivers side manifold. Notched the converter cover to get the crossover pipe to fit under the engine. Tial MVS wastegate, RPS 50mm BOV, FMIC. Buttoning up all the little stuff that takes forever.

Updated pics, progress is slow, but after all, Rome wasn't built in a day.

Updates to note, all intercooler piping is installed, most is aluminum but the piece before the TB is mandrel bent steel. Wiring has been a couple week project, the aluminum Deutsch connectors on the manifold will make for easy intake removal and add a little man bling to the motor. Exhaust is the next project. The downpipe is 3" and will have an electric cutout just after the trans crossmember, on the other side of the cutout it will have a 1 - 2 merge taking the 3" single and splitting it off to dual 2 1/4" exhaust with turbo style mufflers, exiting after the rear tires.

Drove it up and down the neighbor streets a few times, runs ok, need to spend some time tuning. Hope to have it out for good in a week or two.

Seth and I made a run up over the bridge and back to Petoskey a couple weeks ago. Still no interior in mine but kids delay spending haha. Hit me up if you ever road trip northwest, I live in Petoskey now. It's a good base point for a north coast run.

Edit: sorry for the huge picture, didn't know if you'd remember me without a picture of the car

Car runs pretty good with the turbo. I was able to make it to a few shows last summer and won a best engine trophy. I have not been able to make it to the track yet but I imagine it will run similar numbers to the Radix, beings the boost is the same for now. This summer I am going to install some bucket seats and better belts. Something about an 11 second car with a bench seat and lap belts makes me feel funny when I drive it hard.
