no ford emblems.... I pried them off with a screw drived before I got it home.... There has not ever been anything with ford emblems on it owned by me in my stable.

this is stupid, what idiot would put that in a Ford. it dosen't even belong on this site. Ford engines which are better than any bowtie. just ask the bbc chevy guys i beat with my sbf!!!!!!!!!!! some have even sold the rides for the Ford experiance.

great build...I have the perfect idea, you need to go to a toyota dealership and get one of those Hybrid emblems they have on the back, and stick it on the trunk of the car

I'm in the process of putting a 5.3l in my black fox coupe and was just thinking about a turbo on it when I came across this. I'm pretty sure this thread is gonna make me spend more money than I wanted to. Hopefully I'll be picking up a motor tomorrow. Front suspension is ordered and should be in fairly soon...went with PA racing k member and arms. Rearend is at the shop being narrowed and having 9" ends welded on.
I would have never guessed a little boost would have woke that 5.3 up like that. And the 6.0l is just a monster. Awesome work.

Thanks guys! I will be back from holidays tomorrow and am hoping to have the new converter waiting for me. I am hoping for some 9.30's once its sorted out!

Here is the dyno chart, the converter was slipping about 20-25% on these dyno pulls based on the mph and I spun it to 6600 rpm.

well went out last night and got it to go 9.51@146 with a pretty soft 1.50 60 foot, Still only on 14 psi and pump gas..... GOnna work on the 60 foot a little more and start turning it up!
