if all you guys keep making these notch's with auto's and going fast, you're gonna make me take the next step sooner than i want to! lol. i'm really up for just turning mine into more of a drag car with an auto w/t-brake and big stall and taking more weight out of it, but i also want to enjoy the car on the street & highway and really need the 6 spd to do that. i frequently drive 200+ miles on the weekends and couldn't do that with an auto and big gears.

I will definitely be watching this one, I have a 89 notch pushed back in the corner and was planning a 5.3 for it some rainy day. You going to run a motor plate or fix something up with mounts.

i would have ran a motor plate if i was not going turbo but because i am going turbo it will need regular mounts as for k member that will depend if i win the k member i am bidding on right now if not stocker for now

well, let me give you some advice, either make your own mounts or go with a motor plate, cause mine didnt really fit as good as i wanted it too. i wish i would have just went with a motor plate now. but too late, its already in there. i used a pa sbc k-member.

Well heres a few update pics they are nothing special but at least show some progress.... got the car back from the cage ,The cage builder did a great job so heres the pics the front end is pretty well all done for now until i get a k member and coil overs for now its 4cyl springs new lakewood 90/10s and some 15x3.5 drag lites
Next is the 16gallon aluminum fuel cell with foam and sender in the spare tire well,Also you can see how the spare tire well is off center in the fox bodies (stupid ford) also the relocated battery with master disconnect and LS1 Plate LOL
Here is my gauge cluster its not 100% done but almost still needs the turn signal indicators as well as the high beam indicator ,the gauges are Auto meter Ultralites all of them are electric except the speedo:
This picture shows the fitment of the roll bar past the stock door panel.....
Here is a picture of the half finished interior ,In this picture you can see the shifter mounted in the stock ash tray hole as well as the tach mounted on the cover for the stock 5 speed opening, and the passenger seat in,you can also get a better view of the roll bar and how it fits in this picture:
