Damn that sucks, still impressive though. I would be interested in seeing the dyno numbers like dman suggested...11psi, 15psi, 18psi...

I actually have another 5.3 that is going to get fully built and make its way into the car, here is the plan:

Diamond forged pistons
Compstar H beam rods
Bored to factory 346 bore size
Stock crank
Arp Main studs
Arp Head studs
Gm MLS or Cometic Head gaskets
Ported GM 317 6L heads
probably around 15-18 psi again
With the possibility of adding some bottle to the mix

ls6 Corvette intake
Ported Throttle body
60lb injectors

Cars best Et was 9.99@140.6 with a race weight of 3190 lbs and lots of 10.0 - 10.1 passes this year total I made right around 130-150 passes with ZERO breakage, aside from a couple of rubber intake boots.

what do you think is holding you back on your 60'? i know at our local track the best we can usualy do it 1.45's-1.50's but when we goto kansas city we can almost go full power out of the hole and get consistant 1.35's with a best of 1.30.

the rear suspension set up ... Over the winter the car will get proper rear suspension parts along with some other things and should run consistent 9.70s with a dip to the 9.50s if all goes to plan.

we dont have much either. stock springs cut down a little, same shocks as you, hp motorsports adjable uppers and megabite jr's. totaly stock up front.

we did add a hp motorsports antisway bar in the back. that helped a lot.

we also used a instant center of gravity calc tool to help us adjust the rear suspension. it doesn't seem to be working right now but here is the link >> http://inductionmotorsports.com/im/ic.html
