I'm stoked, I got the cover and an 8 page feature in the November issue of Camaro Performers.

And to finish off this thread....

I finally made it to the track. On the motor, with the Nitto DR's that I've been running all season that have 4,000+ miles on them, I ran:

11.75@123.9 with a 1.95 60'
11.64@123.8 with a 1.87 60'
11.57@123.4 with a 1.84 60'

Here's a video of the 11.64 pass

Next spring, I'll have the nitrous hooked up.

Thanks.

No, no issues at all with the C6ZO6 brakes as long as you have the wheels to clear and a way to mount them. I'm using ATS spindles and C5/C6/C6ZO6 calipers bolt right on. To clear the 14" rotors, you will need at least 18" wheels. You will also need to have the hub depth for the back side of the wheels to clear the face of the caliper. The Vette rotor hats are basically flat.

They weren't cheap, but I was able to work with them on pricing.

Stock other than the cam, springs and retainers. Driveability is awesome. Couldn't be happier with this setup.

That is one hell of a car you have build from the ground up using the best of the best parts to put the put this car together as we see it now. Just absolutly incredible work and attention to detail. Making things look as if they were there from the factory and not our of place. Simply awesome car dude.

Two big thumps up and thanks for sharing it with us and keeping us updated every step of the way!

Right on with the mag cover story. I called it, I said I can't wait to see this car on the cover of a few magazines! Way to go. This build inspires me to build my dream machine.

I will be posting my 2000 ss up for sale next summer and looking for a clean 69 camaro to do a LSX/T56 swap.

A place in the Minneapolis did some tuning and a few dyno pulls, and a friend and I did a little more tuning while on Power Tour.

The box stock LS7 tune put down 470rwhp, and with some tuning it made 500rwhp (and that was with only 19* total timing because of the planned nitrous). I'm now running 25* total timing but haven't had it on the dyno to see what it picked up.

Finally getting the nitrous wired up will be one of this winter's projects.

^ I thought it had a Katech camand longtubes? Shouldn't it be in the 530 rwhp range?
