For the street... my 3.90's agree with the t56 pretty well. Personally, I wouldn't wanna go with anything higher, to keep my cruising comfy and my RPMs down.

Honestly, I'd do 3.50s maybe 3.73s but you really want a low gear to load the car. My LSx/Mustang has 3.50s and we're switching to 3.00s or 3.25s.

If you have got 3.27s stock, I'd try them and see what you think. I've seen a couple of local turbo guys do bigger gears and usually regreat them in the end. The turbo needs to be loaded to work at its peak. Your car will make big power down low and a big gear will just blow through that power.

Ok...got the new axle on and the car is finally off the jack stands. Im going through the wheel well to mount the master cylinder closest to where its supposed to be. Theres a bit of cutting to be done but its the best route. I took pictures this morning but I have no clue what I did with my camera.

Hey...Whats a good heavy hitting turbo? Not a kit...just the turbo itself? Im going to build all the piping and stuff myself...just need to know what the best turbo is.

nice project man....I thought of doing the same thing about 6 months ago. I bought a 99GT with no motor......I ended pussin out and putting a 2004 explorer(aluminum) 4.6 motor back in the car. Glad to see someone has the right idea.
