Default 61 Bubble Top Impala- LS1 conversion ???"s

Any body got any info on a LS swap into one of these cars ??? Going to run stock frame,, What upgrades can be done to chassis/steering,, Brakes ???Thanks !!! Any info apprc'd !!!

Todd Varble did two of them, he is the guy with the LS motor in an all fiberglass 1937 Ford coupe that was "faux" finished and on the cover of all the street rod magazines. I'll try to get a contact number.

You can check this out, I had a phone number but it's no good now. He shows up in a bubble-top (LS1) at Bob's Big Boy in Toluca Lake on Friday nights sometimes.

NOt to hijack, but does anyone know the difference between the Chevy X-Frame and the Buick X-Frame in 1961. I noticed a difference in the mount pedestals (Nailhead mounts are all the way forward on the block and the cross bolt ir vertical not horizontal). Thinking about it....

Big O Will,,, Thanks for your attention,,, If you run up on him Yell !!! This is for a good friend, that i have converted to the LS engines,, He is also going with a T56 !!! He is wanting to gather up what info he can find, to save miscue's !!!! Thanks Roger
