Question: Thick White wire, what to connect it to?
I've worked on a lot of ls engine harness' and have yet to see a wire of that gauge or color factory installed. If that is a custom harness you need to call the builder after that it's anyones best guess. The only other thing you can do is see what plug it terminates in in harness and use a volt meter on diode test to verify it is the same wire at either end of the harness. Then go from there with a factory schematic. Being that big it may be the power to the alternator or the solenoid wire for the starter.
The harness is from wait4meperformance; the tag fell off and won't be able to call them until Monday. The wire to the solenoid is purple, already connected that one. Hoping to finish the electrical this weekend.
Hmm....I got my harness from them and I dont have that wire, I do have a red wire about that gauge, its pulled out with the orange wire for constant battery, and selonoid wire. I wonder if your white wire is the same as my red wire, my red wire is "Ignition: power when key is on".

I don't think so its labled "Ignition:power when key is on" so im sure it doesent, i was just kinda throwing that out. Mine is an 02 harness and engine, otherwise the same as yours. I thought our harness's might be laid out the same but i guess not. sorry
