Ok a friend of mine did a swap on his 97 chevy truck by installing a lq4. He bought a painless wiring to make it more simple on the wiring part and he bought the motor mounts from jegs part# 956-4592. I think the only modification he did was a small cut on the oringinal k- member on the truck to make it clear the oil-pan.

My 99 2 door tahoe is getting tired, and I was also thinking about this swap. I was wondering if anyone on here has done this swap before, and if so about how much did it end up costing? I'm gonna start looking around for an LS1, LQ4, or hopefully an LQ9. I just want to get an idea about how much the extra hoses, mounts, compressor etc. ended up costing.
