JR- Yeah, It still needs cut and buffed. I have orange peel issues on both quarters, but not too bad though. The poor quality pics make it look worse than it is.
Hibs- I'm using a Speartech f-body harness. He pulls all of the wires out of the PCM that you need to hook up. It's really no big deal at all. Now getting it to fit under the bezel takes a little work. lol

I have see some people modify them.. But you essentially end up with the same product.. I bought part # FLA-FR1504PLP, The majority of your fox swap guys have done the same.. Works great..

im useing the aje k-member and the bbk 351 headers and my rag joint kleers just fine. but because the aje k lowers the rack to clear the oil pan, the stock steering shaft is too short so im going to chop it and weld it longer.
180 dollars seems like a waste of money for a shaft.

I bought the Racecraft one... It is smaller in diameter than the Flaming River and leaves more room for clearance. It also is extremely hardened, it took 4 cut off wheels to cut it to the right length. I think if I had a chop saw, it would have been easier, but I didn't. It also melted 4 titanium drill bits trying to drill the hole for the bolt. Once it was in, it fit perfectly.
You can see the shaft in the right of the picture. I will take a pic, now that it is installed.
